Contemporary w/ Hannah Millar

Hannah (she/her) is an educated and passionate teacher, choreographer, and mover with a global reputation for her innovative work. Her choreography has earned prestigious awards, including a Gold Telly and Gold Muse Award for the Chukchansi Casino and Resort commercial. Hannah's creative talents have been recognized by the ICU World Competition, the Kidz Carnival Choreographer Ball, and the Young Tanzsommer Austria Tour.

As the Artistic Director and Choreographer for Imprints Dance Company based in Fresno, California, Hannah led the company to premiere several new works at the Dance at the Odyssey Festival in 2022 and 2023, MashUp’s International Women’s Day Show, the Paul Shaghoian Theater, and the Marriott Center for Dance at The University of Utah, and has collaborated on many dance films with Taso Papadakis.

Hannah’s degree in Athletic Training enriches her approach to education and choreography, integrating her expertise in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Recently, mindfulness has become central to her practice and life, influencing both her teaching and choreography. Her exploration of energy anatomy led her to complete a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Sound Therapy Training, Reiki Master certification, and Qigong Instructor training. Hannah is currently pursuing a four-year Feldenkrais Method program, which focuses on mindful movement and the integration of physics, psychology, and motor development. Driven by her diverse education and training, Hannah is dedicated to helping individuals connect with their bodies, fostering movement from a deeper, more authentic place.
